Decorative traffic signs come in a solid or an open back style casting. They are made from ASTM 356 cast aluminum alloy which is a marine grade alloy to ensure long lasting beauty and strength. . The signs are used for traffic control or informational signs and may have scrolls or other decorative enhancements added to accent their beauty. These signs come in various sizes and the Sign Shop sign collection also includes a unique line of decorative trim signs which are pictured on the product page.

The signs offered come in standard sizes for most traffic needs, but we can also tool additional sizes to suit the needs of your unique projects. If order quantities are small, we can design an extruded channel sign to suit your project needs.

Installation

The Sign Shop, LLC decorative traffic signs come in both clamp-on or bolt-on styles. Clamp-on signs shall clamp around the post and are secured with 4 stainless steel 3/8” hex head bolts. The clamps are either ASTM 6061 aluminum alloy, heat treated to a T6 temper or a solid ASTM 356 cast aluminum alloy clamp. Bolt-on signs are secured to the post with 2 stainless steel hex head screws that attach to a mounted adapter on the post.

Finish

These decorative traffic signs are painted with a durable polyester powder paint electro-statically applied coating or a liquid polyurethane finish. Prior to painting, the product goes through a 7 stage pretreatment process. This consists of: sanding which provides a uniform surface for paint application; a detergent rinse; a chemical etch to enable a solid paint adhesion; a cleansing rinse; a chemical sealer to ensure corrosion resistance; a rinse; and a heat drying process
